Magic Shaving Powder is the razorless hair-removal cream that defined Black barbering — the blue tin that lives on bathroom shelves from Harlem to Hackney. Can I use it on my chest, underarms or pubic area?
Chest and underarms — yes, with the same 5-minute cap. Avoid the pubic area, intimate skin and any broken or freshly waxed skin.
It stings or burns — what should I do?
Rinse it off immediately with cool water. A faint warming sensation is normal; a sharp burn means it has been on too long or your skin is too sensitive for this strength — try the Skin Conditioning variant next time.
How often can I use it?
Most users go every 3–5 days. Daily use will irritate the skin. Always leave at least 48 hours between applications and never use on the same day as another chemical treatment.
